A Gothic Manor, Eddy Out, and Far Fetched Films production, Black Flowers is the fourth feature film of BAFTA-winning, Emmy-nominated director Martin Gooch; his first three having won or been nominated for over 44 awards.
Produced by Gooch and Krista DeMille with a mostly female producing team, Black Flowers pairs an experienced crew including Todd Wilson as cinematographer and Dave Marshall as production designer, and post production team including Oscar-winning colorist Garry Maddison, VFX from Method Studios, Cinesite, and Territory, with seasoned talent including Domenica Cameron Scorsese (Almost Paris, The Age of Innocence), William Mark McCullough (American Made, Logan Lucky), Neil Dickson (Inland Empire, Twin Peaks), Christina DeRosa (Blackish, Jane the Virgin) and Roggé (Stranger Things, 13 Reasons Why).
The movie stars Krista DeMille (The Dragon Detective, Serpent of Gold) as the mother, Kate, along with Mexican-American Andrea Sweeney Blanco (Santa Claus 3, Twenty) playing her daughter, Suzi, and Barcelona native Jesús Lloveras (Sing for Darfur, Tercer Grado) playing the movie’s male lead, Joe.
